Kavatsite beach

Kavatsite beach is located in a bay, about 3 km south of the town of Sozopol. The beach is located near the old road Sozopol – Duni. The beach is surrounded by a poplar forest, hence the name of the beach (“kavak” from Turkish means “poplar”). The beach has a guarded and unguarded area. The sand is fine, yellow. The bottom is flat, sandy. Umbrellas and sunbeds are available for rent, but there is also a free area, which extends mainly to the unguarded area. There are several restaurants and a bar by the beach. Near the beach are camping “Kavatsite” and camping “Figs”. There is also paid parking by the beach. Near Kavatsite beach there are hotels and bus stops where you can catch a bus to Sozopol, Bourgas, Primorsko and Tsarevo.
